- Permit and time limit. Registration creates a temporary visitor parking permit for the vehicle and unit entered, valid for 2 hours from the time of submission. It applies only to spaces designated for visitor parking at Maplewood Terrace.
- Notices. We will send a reminder to the contact you provide approximately 15 minutes before the permit expires, and a further notice at expiry. Building security is notified when a permit expires. These notices are a courtesy; failure to send or receive one does not extend the permit.
- Enforcement. A vehicle parked without a valid permit, past expiry, or in a space not designated for visitors may be ticketed, immobilized or towed at the vehicle owner's sole expense and risk, in accordance with the building's parking rules and applicable municipal by-laws.
- Accuracy. You confirm that the licence plate and unit number entered are accurate and that you are visiting that unit. A permit obtained with false or misleading information is void from the outset.
- No guarantee, no bailment. A permit is permission to park where a space is available; it does not reserve a space. Parking is at your own risk. Maplewood Terrace, its property manager, and Corvo Parking are not responsible for theft of or damage to any vehicle or its contents, except to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law.
- Personal information. We collect the licence plate, unit number, visitor name, and the email address and mobile number you provide, solely to administer visitor parking, send the notices described above, and respond to security and enforcement matters. Records are retained for 90 days and then deleted; anonymous counts may be kept for capacity planning. Information is stored on servers located in United States (N. Virginia, us-east-1); where that region is outside Canada, the information may be accessible to authorities of that jurisdiction under its laws. This information is not sold and is not used for marketing. It may be disclosed to the property manager, building security, and, where required, to municipal enforcement, a towing contractor, or law enforcement.
- Your rights. You may request access to or correction of your information, or ask a question about this notice, by contacting privacy@maplewoodterrace.example. Handling of personal information is subject to Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and applicable Ontario law.
- Messaging. Standard message and data rates may apply to text notices. Reply STOP to stop text messages for this permit; email notices will continue.
- Changes and governing law. The building may amend its parking rules and these terms at any time; the version displayed when you register governs your permit. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable in it.
